Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons

Make a splash with YWCA swim lessons! Our instructors teach swimmers of all ages to be safe, confident, and strong in the water. Lessons are designed to grow with your child, starting with water comfort and safety and building all the way to efficient stroke technique.

  • Level 1 A-B introduces water basics like floating, gliding, and safety skills.

  • Level 2 builds confidence with independent movement and simple strokes.

  • Level 3 develops stronger strokes, endurance, and new skills like front crawl and elementary backstroke.

  • Level 4 refines technique, adds breaststroke and butterfly basics, and prepares swimmers to go the distance.

From first splash to confident strokes, the YWCA is here to support every step of your swimmer’s journey!
